Can't you say NO?

Building an advantage requires choices, because quality is at stake when the available time and money is spent on many different projects and incidents. Worse even, many things won’t be finished, even projects of strategic importance - and customers will feel that. So if it doesn’t fit, dare to say no and explain why, because if you want to serve everyone you will never excel and you will not make a clear difference in the market.

Saying no to employees can be difficult as well, if you don’t want to smother creativity and entrepreneurship. This paradox requires a synthesis. Choices will be accepted when everyone knows the assessment framework and, preferably, had the opportunity to pay a contribution. You can also involve your customers in this process.
